Every day is Veterans Day at VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, but on Friday, Nov. 11, the entire nation joins us in celebrating our Nation's heroes.

VA Pittsburgh, along with the National Cemetery Administration and other Veterans' organizations, will pay tribute to Veterans during a special ceremony starting at 10:30 a.m. at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville, Pa. Members of the VAPHS community will also participate in Pittsburgh's Veterans Day Parade, which kicks off at Liberty Avenue and 11th Street at 10:30 a.m.

Visit VA Pittsburgh's Facebook page for even more local events and deals, and see a list of corporate perks available to Veterans during the holiday.

To learn more about Veterans Day, including details on our country's annual ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, visit VA's main Veterans Day web page

We also encourage everyone to take part in a simple VA Pittsburgh tradition: Stop and thank a Veteran—or two, three or four!—for his or her brave service to our country.
