Beneficiary Travel Claims Disagreements

Make sure your records are up to date to determine if you are eligible for mileage reimbursement or special mode transport.

If you would like to appeal a beneficiary travel claim that has been denied, complete VA form 4107, which requires that you:

  1. Submit a Notice of Disagreement
  2. Give us evidence we do not already have that may lead us to change our decision.

If your claim is denied, you will receive a Statement of Case, explaining VA’s decision to deny the benefits, along with VA form 9, which allows you to appeal your claim to the Board of Veterans Appeals.
